Bay Area News Group girls athlete of the week: Kaitlyn Bray, San Ramon Valley flag football
The senior quarterback completed nine of 10 passes for 149 passing yards and three touchdowns.
Kaitlyn Bray of San Ramon Valley is the Bay Area News Group’s high school girls athlete of the week for the week of Aug. 21-26, after receiving 33.04% of the vote by the deadline of 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Valerie Eng (27.20%) of Lynbrook finished second, and Maleni Garcia of Mt. Eden finished third.
Congratulations to all of the nominees for this week’s honor.
Bray, a senior, was dominant in a 30-0 victory over Campolindo. The quarterback connected on nine of ten passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns.
