Conquer Concord’s Taco Trail Challenge this Hispanic Heritage Month

More than 40 Concord taquerias to participate in this year’s challenge.

Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, everyone — taco fans, visitors, and Concord residents alike — is invited to visit the 41 Concord taquerias that comprise the city’s Taco Trail, which runs from now until Oct. 15. Whoever visits the most taquerias will be crowned Concord’s Taco Trail Champion in 2023.

The Visit Concord tourism agency is organizing the challenge, which will award trophies to both the person who visits the most taquerias and the restaurant visited by the most challenge participants. According to Visit Concord spokesperson Sheri Nelson, the goal is to promote the many family-owned restaurants that make Concord unique.

This year, participation will be tracked through social media. Visit a Taco Trail restaurant and share your experience on social media using the hashtag #concordtacotrail. Make sure to tag the restaurant as well as Visit Concord.

More information is available at visitconcordca.com/eat-drink/taco-trail, as well as a map of participating restaurants.
