Mother of Oakland actor Angus Cloud reveals his last words to her

Angus Cloud’s final words to his mother were heartfelt.

“Mama, I adore you.” “You’re the best,” the late actor’s mother, Lisa Cloud, told People magazine her son told her the night he died. “I’ll see you in the morning.”

She and others close to the “Euphoria” actor discussed his final days with the publication.

Cloud died of an accidental overdose in July. He was 25.

Cloud, known as “Conor” to his family and childhood friends, was tragically discovered unresponsive in their Oakland home by his mother. Lisa Cloud stated that despite her efforts to resuscitate her son, she was unable to get him to respond.

“I was screaming for my neighbor because I didn’t want to leave him and call 911, and I just kept at it until they took him away,” she said. “I really miss him. He was my life’s love.”

According to the Alameda County Coroner, Cloud died from a lethal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and benzodiazepine.

“It started to slow his heart and breathing,” Lisa Cloud told People. “He became tired due to a lack of oxygen.” Everything just slowed down until his heart stopped beating and he fell asleep. But he didn’t commit suicide.”

The younger Cloud struggled with substance abuse, and the creator of the show that catapulted him to fame stated that he assisted the actor in obtaining substance abuse treatment.

“I looked him in the eyes and I knew he wasn’t doing well,” said “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson. “At the same time, I’ve been in situations where you’re trying to get someone clean before. And I just told him, ‘I love working with you, we’ve got this amazing season planned, but I need you to be sober because I need to be able to rely on you.'”

Cloud’s friend Daniel Aguilera hung out with him on the last night of his life, which also happened to be the six-year anniversary of the death of a mutual close friend from a fentanyl overdose.

“I lost two of my best friends to fentanyl on the same day.” “I feel cursed,” said Aguilera. “I should’ve stuck with Conor.” I’m not sure how to live with myself. But I consider myself fortunate to have had both of them in my life.”
