BRENTWOOD, CALIFORNIA — According to police, a 12-year-old boy on a bike was hit by a car near a major intersection on Wednesday.
The accident occurred around 5:35 p.m. on O’Hara Avenue near the Lone Tree Way intersection. According to police, the boy was riding his bike north on O’Hara when he was hit by a westbound vehicle while crossing Lone Tree.
According to police, the boy was flown to a hospital by air ambulance. He was expected to recover from his injuries, they added.
