Autopsy Series: Are COVID-19 Vaccines Causing Sudden Cardiac Death?
Almost every day, another case of sudden, unexpected cardiac death is reported in the news. The report carefully conceals the vaccination status, and any mention of previous SARS-CoV-2 immunization appears to have been scrubbed from the internet. Families keep a tight lid on a simple medical question: did they receive a COVID-19 vaccine? Is it true or false?
Prior to COVID-19 vaccination, the most common causes of death were almost always known antemortem, and they were roughly 40% cardiovascular, 40% cancer, and 20% other causes. These proportions have been dramatically shifted to sudden cardiac death, according to Chaves and colleagues.
In a study of 121 deaths caused by the whole virus CoronaVac (Sinovac), 57% were classified as sudden cardiac death, with pathologies including myocardial infarction, aortic dissection, and in a few cases with no cardiac pathology, primary arrhythmic death was assumed. Another well-known complication was pulmonary embolism, which accounted for 21% of the cases. Despite the authors’ claim of “no association,” I believe that 78% of the deaths could be directly attributed to a known mechanism of COVID-19 vaccination. This is consistent with a recent report from Germany’s Schwab et al, who found that 71% of deaths within 20 days of vaccination occurred in the context of acute problems known to be caused by vaccines.
We have external consistency when autopsies performed by different teams in different countries yield similar results. This is one of several criteria used to determine scientific validity. The claim that COVID-19 vaccines cause death is gaining traction in the peer-reviewed literature.
