Bay Area News Group girls athlete of the week: Sarah Chow, Sacred Heart Cathedral volleyball

Chow, a senior setter, had 33 assists in SHC’s 3-0 sweep over Notre Dame-Belmont in the NorCal Division II semifinal. The victory clinched the Fightin’ Irish’s spot in the NorCal final vs. Clovis North.

Sarah Chow, a Sacred Heart Cathedral volleyball player, was named the Bay Area News Group’s girls athlete of the week for the week of Nov. 6-11 after receiving 42.52% of the vote by the deadline on Wednesday.

Ruby Chen, an Evergreen Valley cross-country runner, finished second.
