Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week: Jacob Alvarado, Milpitas football
Alvarado, a senior, ran for 328 yards and four touchdowns in 13 carries
Milpitas football player Jacob Alvarado has been named the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for the week of September 11-16, receiving 42.4% of the vote.
Joshua Oludayo (27.1%) of the Oakland Raiders finished second.
Congratulations to all of the nominees for this week’s honor.
Milpitas defeated Santa Clara 56-14 in a nonleague game, with Alvarado rushing for 328 yards and four touchdowns on 13 carries. The Trojans are now 3-0.
