East Palo Alto: Three teenagers arrested after suspected shooting; five guns seized
According to police, there were no injuries in the Oct. 13 shooting.
PALO ALTO, EAST — According to authorities, guns, cash, and large amounts of illegal drugs were seized at the homes of three East Palo Alto teenagers on Thursday in the aftermath of an October shooting.
On Oct. 13, police reported a shooting at a home in the 2300 block of Cooley Avenue. The shooting caused no injuries, but home surveillance video captured images of the three teenagers involved.
The suspects were identified as two 15-year-olds and one 16-year-old.
On Thursday, authorities served arrest and search warrants on all three suspects. Five firearms were seized, including an AR-15 rifle and a glock-style pistol that were later determined to be unregistered “ghost guns.” There were also high-capacity magazines discovered, including a 60-round AR-15 magazine.
Among the other items discovered during the search were 22 ounces of cocaine, MDMA pills, marijuana, and over $4,000 in cash.
According to police, all three teenagers were arrested.
