Gwen Stefani reveals the one thing Blake Shelton does daily that keeps their relationship strong

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been together since 2015, and there’s one thing that he does every day that reminds her why she fell in love with him.
“The thing about Blake is that you’ll never get through a day without laughing,” Stefani told Jennifer Hudson on the October 2 episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show.”
“You know what I mean? It doesn’t even matter what’s going on. The guy has so much patience, and so much kindness in his heart,” Stefani said. “It just makes you happier every single day.”
The “Hollaback Girl” singer added that since laughter is something “we’re chasing every day,” she’s glad that she has someone like Shelton in her life.
The couple first met on “The Voice” in 2014, when Stefani and Shelton were still married to other people: Stefani to Gavin Rossdale, with whom she shares three sons, and Shelton to Miranda Lambert.
Stefani and Shelton both went through divorces in early 2015 and started dating later that year. In 2021, they tied the knot.
In April, Stefani told Nylon that she had learned not to pay attention to tabloid rumors about her relationship with Shelton.
“The truth is I am in love with my best friend,” Stefani said, “and all this shit I’m thinking of in my brain, that’s all it is — I’m overthinking.”
Indeed, the key to a happy relationship may just lie in laughter. Not only does it help people bond with others, but it can also help reduce stress and boost immunity.
“Laughter is an essential tool to combat stress, bond and join with others, and improve health,” Sabrina Romanoff, a clinical psychologist in private practice, told B-17 previously, adding that it also has an impact on resilience — including in the tolerance of physical and emotional pain.
“Combined, these speak to the powerful effects this simple act has on relationships, on mental and physical health,” she added.
Research has also found that fulfilling relationships rooted in happiness can even help extend lifespans.
A representative for Stefani did not immediately respond to a request for comment sent by B-17 outside regular hours.
