High school football rankings Week 15, 2023: Bay Area News Group Top 25
Los Gatos, El Cerrito to meet in a Top 10 showdown on Saturday in a NorCal regional as season nears the finish line
Only two weeks remain in the high school football season.
More than two-thirds of the teams ranked this week have retired their uniforms until next season.
There is a lot on the line for the few remaining players — regional championship games this weekend, possibly state championship games a week later.
The only significant change this week was Los Gatos, which jumped two spots to No. 5 after defeating league Wilcox in the Central Coast Section Division I championship game at San Jose City College on Friday.
El Cerrito is now sixth, followed by McClymonds, after a narrow win over Windsor in the North Coast Section Division II final.
On Saturday, Los Gatos will host El Cerrito in a regional.
