Victim takes firearm away from him in Campbell incident

Nov. 20

A 2014 Hyundai Elantra was stolen and later recovered overnight in the 600 block of Harriet Avenue.

Someone stole all four rims and tires from a Camaro SS overnight at Foreman and McGlincy.

8:50 p.m., East Hamilton Avenue 400 block:A 25-year-old man got into a fight with a 62-year-old man who got in his face. To get the victim to stop, the man grabbed his handgun and brandished it at him. The man eventually left the gun in the car, and the victim took it from him.

Nov. 21

A black 1997 Chevy Silverado with a camper shell was stolen overnight in the 100 block of Harrison Avenue.

At 5:35 p.m., four women entered a store and stole items in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue.

At Midway Street and El Moro Drive around midnight, a 29-year-old man was pulled over for a traffic violation and discovered to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Nov. 22

6:15 a.m. in the 600 block of Creekside Way: A vehicle was broken into and several items were stolen.

The victim was assaulted after a disturbance in the 1300 block of Dell Avenue at 5:11 p.m. The suspect fled in a Hyundai 2023.

The victim was inside his business in the 100 block of Kennedy Avenue at 8:02 p.m. when two males entered and stole money.

10:36 p.m., Campbell and Bascom avenues: A 55-year-old man was pulled over for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

Nov. 23

10:32 a.m. in the 700 block of West Hacienda Avenue: A man returned to his home today in violation of a restraining order that had been served. He had fled the scene before officers arrived.

Someone sprayed-painted on the victim’s vehicle around 2 p.m. in the 200 block of East Campbell Avenue.

At 3:56 p.m., at White Oaks and Camden avenues, a woman, 24, struck her passenger as they drove to her house. The passenger got out of the car, and the woman kept hitting her, then tried to take the passenger’s purse while she was holding it. The woman was discovered to be under the influence of alcohol while driving.

Two suspects broke into multiple vehicles at 2:41 a.m. in the 1100 block of Dell Avenue.

A man returned to his residence in the 700 block of West Hacienda Avenue at 5:30 a.m. to gather his belongings and pushed his fiancée. He was in violation of a restraining order that had been served on him.

Someone spray-painted the interior of an elevator in the 00 block of North Second Street with black/blue paint.

During an argument in the 600 block of Budd Avenue at 4:55 p.m., the suspect hit and strangled the victim, then pointed a bb gun at him and threatened to shoot him if he called police. The suspect refused to let the victim leave the house. Later, the suspect returned to the house, entered the backyard, and broke through the back window leading into the victim’s bedroom in order to find him.

7:35 p.m. on Salmar Avenue in the 400 block: A 46-year-old man was stopped for a traffic violation and discovered to have a felony warrant for narcotics charges. He was a noncompliant sex registrant in possession of methamphetamine.

At 10:40 p.m. in the 200 block of Budd Avenue, a 40-year-old transient broke into an office and stole mail. He was carrying a belt buckle knife.

Nov. 25

Someone vandalized a vehicle overnight in the 100 block of Wilton Drive.

At 1:59 p.m., in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue, someone stole the victim’s prescription.

A man, 59, was stopped at West Hamilton Avenue and Dunster Drive at 8:28 p.m. for multiple vehicle code violations and was found to be DUI.

A gray BMX style bike with green handles was stolen around 8:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard.

At 12:17 a.m., a man, 18, was stopped for doing doughnuts in the intersection of Camden and Curtner avenues. He displayed signs of intoxication and was arrested for DUI.

Nov. 26

Officers discovered a stolen 2023 Honda Civic in the 700 block of Dry Creek Road at 10:14 a.m.

Someone stole a wallet from the counter after the victim left it there at 9 a.m. in the 2800 block of South Winchester Boulevard.

A woman, 30, was involved in a collision in the 200 block of East Campbell Avenue at 6:02 p.m. She was charged with DUI and arrested.

At 11:09 p.m. on 600 Alpha Ct., a 49-year-old man on searchable probation was found in possession of methamphetamine.
