Wide receivers
Daven Amos, Clayton Valley, 6-3, 190, senior
According to 247Sports, he is a three-star prospect. Had a strong junior year, catching 86 passes for 1,164 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Brooks Davis, Heritage, 6-0, 170, senior
Three stars with multiple offers. After catching five touchdown passes as a junior, will play a much larger role for the Brentwood school this season.
Kai Hamilton, Valley Christian, 6-2, 178, senior
Washington State has made an offer to the three-star prospect. Last season, he caught 20 passes, three of which were for touchdowns.
Tyrone Jackson, Riordan, 6-3, 180, senior
Transferred from Oakland Tech to Riordan. 247Sports and Rivals both give it three stars. Has five Power 5 offers, including four from the Pac-12. Should work well with Riordan’s roster of talent.
Paul Kuhner, Acalanes, 6-0, 175, senior
He’ll provide sprinter speed alongside Trevor Rogers, which should make things difficult for defensive backs. Eight offers have been made to the three-star prospect. Ran a leg on the state 4100 runner-up. Last season, he had 22 receptions for 441 yards.
Chris Lawson, Riordan, 6-0, 175, junior
Over the spring, a four-star prospect transferred to Riordan from Foothill in Pleasanton, giving the San Francisco school another talent in its quest for a big turnaround. Has 13 offers, eight of which are from Pac-12 schools.
Kyon Loud, Serra, 6-2, 180, senior
After transferring from Bishop O’Dowd, where he stood out as a sophomore, he is now in his second year at Serra. 247Sports gives it three stars. Has scholarship offers from UC Davis, Idaho, and Portland State.
Scott Lyon, Campolindo, 5-10, 170, senior
Campo’s leading returner after catching 46 passes for 457 yards and four touchdowns last season. Will play a much bigger role this fall, taking over for Robbie Mascheroni, who graduated.
Kyan Phillips, Lincoln-San Jose, 5-11, 175, sophomore
In 2022, he had a breakout year, earning BVAL Mt. Hamilton freshman of the year honors after catching 35 passes for 781 yards and eight touchdowns.
Trevor Rogers, Acalanes, 6-3, 200, senior
Three stars and a Cal commitment. Acalanes’ 4100 relay team finished second at the CIF state meet in May after running a leg. There are 15 offers. In 2022, he caught 58 passes for 1,120 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Ellijah Washington, Castlemont, 5-11, 175, junior
Will have a significant impact for a Castlemont team coached by his father, Edward. Cal, Arizona, Oregon State, Washington State, and San Jose State have all made offers.
Tight ends
Kellan Ford, Monte Vista, 6-6, 225, junior
Cal, Washington, San Jose State, and UNLV have all made offers. “A large target with exceptional ball skills.” “He’s a physical blocker who extends the field vertically,” Monte Vista coach Johnny Millard said.
Cole Harrison, Serra, 6-6, 220, senior
Prospect with three stars and eight offers from schools such as the Air Force, Army, UC Davis, and UNLV. QB Maealiuaki Smith will have several options.
Wyatt Hook, Homestead, 6-6, 235, senior
247Sports and Rivals both rate the Oregon State commit as a three-star prospect. He has three years of varsity experience at the Cupertino school.
Tony Keck, Clayton Valley, 6-4, 205, junior
College Park was transferred to Clayton Valley. According to 247Sports, the three-star prospect has an offer from UNLV.
Alek Marshall, Menlo-Atherton, 6-7, 230, senior
M-A coach Chris Saunders refers to the senior as “a mismatch nightmare.” 247Sports gives it three stars. San Jose State University is one of the schools that provide this service. Last season, he caught 31 passes for 31 yards and four touchdowns.
