Rapper Drake will give away free Dave’s Hot Chicken sliders on his birthday

Promotion runs from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the chicken runs out

Drake turns 37 on Tuesday, Oct. 24, but he’ll be the one doing the celebrating.

Customers who download the app and scan it at the register that day will receive a free slider or tender in the rapper’s honor. There is no need for a coupon or a code.

The promotion is only valid for in-person orders and is valid from 11 a.m. until supplies run out. There is no need to make a purchase.

Drake is one of the celebrity investors in Dave’s Hot Chicken, which was founded in Los Angeles in 2017. Oakland, San Jose/Brokaw, San Leandro, Santa Clara, Dublin, Sunnyvale, Union City, and El Cerrito are among the Bay Area locations for the rapidly expanding chain.

Dave’s specializes in fiery Nashville-style chicken, but customers can order it with any level of spice they want, from “no spice” and “lite mild” to “extra hot” and “reaper.”Sliders are accompanied by kale slaw, pickles, and Dave’s sauce.
