San Jose motorcyclist killed in Sierra foothills crash
According to the California Highway Patrol, a San Jose man was killed in a motorcycle crash in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
The solo crash occurred at 7:20 p.m. Sunday on Buchanan Road, northeast of Tuolumne.
Adam Jones, 37, allegedly failed to negotiate a road curve and collided with a guardrail. According to the CHP, he died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Jones was wearing a helmet and was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to the CHP.
